Terms of Use
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms are between you and the developer of αrchive (“we”). By buying or using αrchive, you agree to them.
License
When you buy αrchive, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on Macs you own or control. You may not resell, share or redistribute your license key, or remove the license check.
Your photos
Your photos stay yours. αrchive only reads from your camera and writes to storage you choose. You are responsible for keeping that storage, and for keeping other copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
No warranty
αrchive is provided “as is”. We work to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or works with every camera, Mac or network. Wireless functions depend on the camera’s firmware, which its maker may change.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with αrchive is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under Japan’s Consumer Contract Act.
Trademarks
Camera names and other product names belong to their owners. αrchive is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any camera maker.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes do not affect a purchase you already made.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
